Varsity Girls suffer tough loss to Rams

VARSITY GIRLS LOSE IN PENALTY KICKS TO GRAYSON

The Lady Lions lost a tough contest to the Grayson Rams on Friday night 2-1 in a penalty kick shoot-out.  Emily Edmond scored the lone goal for the Lions, while Lion Keeper McCall Gardner made nine saves in regulation and overtime to lead the Lions into the shootout.

With the teams tied 1-1 through regulation and overtime, it was the Rams who converted their chances in the penalty kick shoot-out (3-0) to earn the victory.

The next game for the Lady Lions is Tuesday, March 8th, when they take on Habersham Central at Raider Stadium at Habersham Central High School.  Game time is set for 7:30 p.m., BE THERE!
