The Lady Lions braved the wind and the cold Monday night to bring home a 2-0 win over Berkmar HS.

The girls played hard the first half of the game with Renita Patel as Keeper. There were many shots on goal, but none were able to go in. The Lady Lions worked well as a team though to keep the pressure on Berkmar.

Second half saw Kelsey Julian as Keeper. The girls played hard and it paid off. Within 4 minutes, Freshman Sophia Sakers was able to score the team’s first goal. Less than 2 minutes later, Sophomore Katie Lane took a shot and scored the 2nd goal.

Throughout the rest of the evening the Lady Lions continued to play hard in the cold. Everyone’s spirits were high when the game was over. Way to go Lady Lions!!! Our next game is a HOME game on Thursday.

Come support our team:)!
