JV Girls Have a Tough Loss

On Wednesday night, the JV Girls Lions lost to the Norcross Blue Devils 2-1.  The girls fought hard but still came out behind.

The two teams looked very competitive from the start.  It was a cold and windy night but we were ready to play hard!!  We scored first on a beautiful kick by Smriti Singh assisted by Maggie Carr.  We looked as though we were definitely going to dominate!  Our offense stayed on their side most of the night with Samantha Stamey, Katie Lane, Smriti Singh, Samantha Whaley and Hannah Peterson fighting hard! It was not to be though as Norcross fought back with two goals in the second half.  Kelsey Julian played the entire game without a break and had 6 great saves.  Our defense tried hard to stop them but they were still able to break through.

The girls have a little break with only one game next Thursday against Parkview at home.  Please come out and support our girls!!
