The Peachtree Ridge JV Girls Soccer team made the long trip up to Habersham County to play yet another game in the cold on Monday. The girls were cold, but ready to play! With light snow falling and the wind against them, the girls got off to a shaky start. Five goals were scored against the Lady Lions in the first half. After a ten minute half-time break, the Lady Lions came back playing much stronger. Our girls made several shots on goal and the pressure was put on the opposing team, keeping them on their end of the field for most of the 2nd half. While the girls played hard as a team and had a few exciting moments where a goal was almost scored, none of the shots made it in. We continue to root for the girls and hope you enjoy us on Wednesday, March 27th, for another Home game where we can pull off a win. Go Lions!!!
