SUWANEE – Peachtree Ridge defeated visiting Forsyth Central 2-0 to move on to the 2nd round of the 7A State Playoffs. James Williams pushed forward on a run in the 29th minute, slipping a pass from the middle of the field to an open Dalton Seckinger on the right side. The Region 6-AAAAAAA midfielder of the year blasted a shot from there for the match’s first goal, giving the region’s forward of the year an assist. In the 32nd minute, Nick Kosut made a nice move in the box and was tripped to earn a PK. James Williams converted the kick for an insurance goal.
