Peachtree Ridge 1, So Forsyth 2

Cumming — The semifinals were the furthest the Lions had ever been in the Class 7A playoffs, but their improbable run ended after they failed to respond to a late goal from the South Forsyth War Eagles.

The semifinals were two rounds further than any boys soccer team from Peachtree Ridge had ever advanced.  The lone goal was scored by Dalton Seckinger who played the game even after been diagnosed with deep bruises to his ribs.

The Lion's finish the season ranked 3rd in Georgia's largest classification & in the top 50 in the country with an excellent 14-6-2 record, tying the second most wins in school history in a single season.
